An agent is a folder.
A folder of Markdown under git holds two things: the agent's point of view and your knowledge. Change directory into it and the agent inhabits that point of view, works from those plain files, and updates them as it goes.
Not memory. Shape.
Code repositories work well with agents because they survived the last session and have a shape the agent can navigate. IdeaSpaces gives knowledge a dependable shape too: content alongside an _agent/ folder that says how to work here.
Both halves travel
Hand someone the folder and they receive the knowledge and the point of view. Git preserves the state at any point in time and who changed it; any compatible harness can work from the same record.
Hosted IdeaSpaces is an optional layer for sharing, access control, search, and Keeper. The folder underneath does not depend on it.
